Because we believe that these qualities are the very origin of social wellbeing... and the deepest source of personal fulfilment.
These are the Essential Qualities ...
And we know that they can be learned ...
But, remarkably, they are almost never the central focus of education.
We want to make the Essential Qualities explicit and principle objectives of education systems worldwide. We want them to be at the front of our minds whenever we are influencing young people - at home... in school... anywhere.
To achieve this, we need to:
- Find people who are focused on the Essential Qualities
- Perform research to understand better how they are learned
- Spread this understanding and these practices as widely as possible
We are an international movement of people who are actively working to improve the world
We are not affiliated with a religion or a political party and are not for profit.
