Flow is a not-for-profit, secular and non-partisan organisation. The Flow organisation is led by its Management Team - Oli Barrett, Estaeban Bullrich, Ross Hall, Joysy John and Henry Playfoot - who provide strategic and operational direction.
Our Board and Steering Committee oversee management and provide essential help in promoting our aims and activities around the world. The Education Council provides deep expertise in all educational matters - policy, theory and, crucially, practice. Advisors and Advocates provide a wide array of specialist expertise to help us achieve our aims, recognising that education is part of a complex ecosystem in which social, cultural, economic, etc viewpoints are all of significant importance.
But most important to our success is our growing international network of Educators and Supporters who are immersed in the education process.
Collectively, it is these people who will change education for the benefit of us all.

Oli Barrett is a serial entrepreneur based in London. He brought the concept of 'Speednetworking' to the UK and has hosted literally hundreds of events bringing business people together across the world. Last year, he 'Speednetworked the Globe' visiting and speaking in 12 countries in a month, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, sponsored by IBM and Ernst and Young.
He is the founder of 'Make Your Mark with a Tenner', the challenge in which 20,000 school pupils are given £10 and have one month to see what they can achieve. He is a member of the UK Prime Minister's Council on Social Action, and helped to create the Catalyst Awards, presented by the Prime Minister, to celebrate the ways in which the web can be a force for good in local communities. A love of technology prompted Oli to found WebMission, an annual trip in which 20 leading UK web entrepreneurs visit Silicon Valley to explore opportunities.
He has helped to found and launch several companies including the world's largest language learning exchange (sold in 2008) and even a sock subscription website. Oli has written for publications including the Daily Telegraph and The Spectator and writes a monthly column for Growing Business magazine.
Congressman, Republic of Argentina
Born in Argentina, Esteban Bullrich is an Argentine politician, member of the Argentinean National Congress and Secretary General of the Recrear para el Crecimiento party.
Esteban was born and raised in the city of Buenos Aires. After completing his bachelor's degree at Universided CAECE in Aregntina, he began his graduate studies in the United States at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He was just 24 years old when he entered the program, one of the youngest in his class. At Kellogg he focused on human relations and organizational studies. After receiving his MBA, Esteban spent two months teaching mathematics to orphans in Nicaragua through the Padre Fabretto Foundation, before moving into the private business sector.
Esteban left a career as Commercial Director of San Miguel a $120 billion food exporter, to jump into politics, running under the RECREAR party for City Council in Buenos Aires. He later became vice-president for the Buenos Aires District. In office, he has organized and led efforts to improve the Argentine education system and has championed government transparency as a means to ending corruption. Most recently, Esteban has been in the press serving as an opposition congressman in the Skanska corruption case where the Swedish construction and development company allegedly over-charged the Argentine government for the construction of a pipeline in northern Argentina. Since October, 2005 Esteban has represented the Federal Capital of Buenos Aires, and is scheduled to continue his term until December 2009. Esteban represents the PRO, a center-right political bloc, and is also allied with political blocs Commitment to Change and RECREAR. In the political arena he became the youngest candidate for the Argentinean Vice-Presidency in the 2007 election cycle.
Ross has a background in corporate venturing. He has been responsible for establishing and growing more than 20 businesses around the world, in a wide range of market sectors including education, human resources, logistics, media and healthcare. Ross also has a track record of advising organisations on innovation for growth and using innovation as a vehicle for social and economic development.
At Pearson Education, he is driving a corporate-wide agenda that aims to define and implement novel education solutions that result in economic and social development, giving learners improved employment opportunities; helping education institutions deliver world-class service and benefiting employers by improving recruitment, retention and staff development.
Key to Ross's impact at Pearson is his authorship of Effective Education for Employment - a ground-breaking research paper that is now being used to challenge education systems around the world, and in the process, positioning Pearson as a global thought-leader.
Joysy John has several years of experience in Financial Services industry. Currently she works in the Sales & Trading division at Morgan Stanley, London. Prior to her MBA, Joysy worked for JPMorgan Chase in Singapore and New York, where she was the youngest person selected into JPMorgan's Future Leader Development Programme (in 2002).
In her undergraduate years, she co-founded Students' Initiative For Technopreneurship as a platform for students interested in entrepreneurship to network with industry and social leaders. In recent years, she has advised several entrepreneurs in education sector to help improve their business plans. Joysy is passionate about developing and empowering others to achieve their goals. She believes that education is what transforms lives. She has actively contributed by volunteering with educational organizations (uPublic, IntoUniversity, etc) and connecting with leaders in several non-profit organizations such as TeachFirst, Teach For India, Dream a Dream, Lifebeat, Akansha and Ashoka.
She was the President of the Women in Business Club at London Business School. She also served on the first executive-committee for Financial Women's Association in Singapore and was responsible for launching the mentoring programme for young women. She has mentored high-school students through Big Brothers Big Sisters and Financial Women's Association in New York. She was a student delegate at the 2007 Women's Forum held at Deauville, France.
Joysy is originally from India and has lived in Singapore, USA and UK. She holds a Computer Engineering (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and an MBA with Distinction from London Business School. She was a recipient of the SIA-NOL scholarship for her undergraduate studies and the 2006 Forte Scholarship for her MBA.
Managing Director, White Loop
Henry is an experienced and respected communicator and entrepreneur with strong planning, strategy and influencing skills. Henry has led project teams and provided strategic advice on stakeholder engagement, consultation, strategy, and development and integration of digital services to organizations including the BBC, Central Office of Information, NESTA, the Dept of Health and NHS, Edexcel International/Pearson, The Stationery Office and the London Development Agency.
Henry's early career included planning and delivering Government public health campaigns using TV/radio advertising, PR/advocacy and print media, and communicating the controversial but hugely successful re-structuring of BBC Radio 4.
In 2001 Henry set up London-based creative agency White Loop with brother and business partner Jim. White Loop is now well-known for its exceptional mix of thinking, creativity and delivery capability, and is now expanding its portfolio of services to include the development and exploitation of high value intellectual property.
In 2008 Henry co-founded The Creative Network, a not-for-profit organization focussed on generating ideas for positive social change. Henry is also a Director of Storylines, a not-for-profit organization which encourages high quality narrative and the use of storytelling techniques in the formation and communication of public policy.
Rajeeb Dey FRSA
Rajeeb (24) - who has been named as one of the UK's "rising stars of the business world" by Spectator Business Magazine and "among the most high profile" young entrepreneurs by the Financial Times - graduated with First Class Honours in Economics & Management in 2008 from the University of Oxford. Whilst at University he was the longest serving President of Oxford Entrepreneurs and President of the Oxford Majlis Asian Society, founded in 1896 as a political forum for Indian independence.
Rajeeb is the Founder/CEO of Enternships.com, a service providing entrepreneurial work placements for talented students and graduates in start-ups, SMEs and "intrapreneurial" firms worldwide. Rajeeb was named the 02 X Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009, and Enternships has already secured significant global media coverage.
As a result of his Rajeeb was one of twelve people globally to be given the accolade of "Architect of the Future 2008" by the Waldzell Institute and one of twenty globally to receive the YouthActionNet Global Fellowship 2008. Most recently he has been invited to join the The Observer / Courvoisier Future 500 network - an exclusive network of rising stars across the UK - and continues to build his business interests both in the UK and internationally.
